When the world is spinning, the Church must keep pivoting. Without losing its center.
It’s July 19, 2024. Gen Z-led protests rumbled into their fifth week. They echoed frustration and fiery purpose across our streets. Meanwhile, a different revolution quietly unfolded under sanctuary lights.

Reimagine Church Conference 2024 wrapped up with a prophetic bang. And not a whisper of business as usual.
Across five power-packed sessions, brilliant speakers dropped truth bombs. They provoked paradigm shifts. They dared us to ask harder questions about what it means to be Church now.
Here’s what stirred the soul and shook the pews:
🙋 Rev. Oscar Amisi opened the gates with divine thunder:
“Church is God’s Plan A. With no Backup!”
Oscar reminded us that the Church isn’t a side hustle of the Kingdom. It’s central. Ephesians 1:23 MSG states it clearly: “The church is not peripheral to the world. The world is peripheral to the church.” So, what does the Church need today? A major threefold tune-up: Renovate. Innovate. Cultivate. Full send!

🙋‍♂️ Kingston Ogango provocatively asked:
“Next Gen Church. Why Not Now?”

Why does the Church sometimes feel like it’s running on Windows 95 in an AI-driven world? Kingston called us to be Geared to the Times, Anchored to the Rock. He warned against preserving old wineskins when God is clearly in the mood for pouring new wine. 🍷
🙋‍♂️ Bishop Gibson Anduvate brought it home with a soul-searcher:
“With so many Spiritual Fathers gone since COVID…
Is the Next Gen ready to lead?”
Echoing Moses and David, he challenged us: Leadership starts with longing. The hunger for God is the true prerequisite to mantle-bearing.
Titles don’t raise leaders. Thirst does.

🙋‍♂️ Bishop Phillips Katutu dropped the most eyebrow-raising line of the day:
“Is there such a thing as a Christian Lifestyle?”

His answer? A hard NO.
Instead, he preached a Gospel that translates and transcends. God’s word must incarnate into every culture, language. And yes, even a rastaman with a guitar in church. 🎸
Hallelujah and One Love!
🙋‍♀️ Pastor Angie Kimaru closed the conference with a prophetic push:
“How can the Church stay true to God’s mission…
Not just run programs?”
Like the prophet Amos, she called the Church to rise with Passionate Spirituality, Radical Community, and Missional Zeal.
Programs don’t change the world. Purpose does.

🔥 The final charge? The Church must Reimagine, Reinvent, and Refresh. Not to stay trendy, but to stay faithful. Because God isn’t a secret to be kept.
We’re going public. 🕊️Let’s not owe the next generation what we failed to become.
