The Power of One Man: From Tumor to Theatre – A Thriving Summit of Men

Dr. Keith Dindi, a man on fire sets others ablaze.

What occurs if you gather a room full of men and include a Heart Surgeon? Then mix in some Michael Bolton lyrics?

You get the Thriving Men Summit! A Saturday (July 27, 2024) hangout with laughter, reflection, a few tears. Yes, we have tear ducts. And the sacred power of story.

Theme? “The Power of One Man.”

Dr. Dindi, our keynote speaker, didn’t just speak. He poured. He had the clarity of a scalpel. With the honesty of a brother, he took us back to Trans Nzoia.

That near-death encounter birthed his dream. To heal others.

You can carry more than your weight

By Class 5, the vision took root. His dad brought home a newspaper praising a KCPE finalist who’d made it to Alliance High School. Young Dindi made it his goal. And he nailed it.

Men don’t just talk. They (can) play

Getting to Alliance wasn’t easy. His father, a teacher, could barely pay fees. But at Alliance, tragedy struck. His friend Alex Maseki died of a heart condition.

Alex Maseki’s Obituary

From Kenya to Australia, Dr. Dindi has walked with giants. In 2023, he completed his Heart Surgery Fellowship in Melbourne.

Beyond the white coat, he’s now an Author, Speaker, and Coach. He carries a message that one life, lived intentionally, can change the world.

His message?

“If you have a six-figure salary, five-bedroom house, four-wheel car, two-club membership, and a chihuahua—you haven’t arrived!

Candid and personal conversations

He called these “SmaLL Arrivisms”. The little boxes men tick that seem impressive but mean so little.

Through the story of Abraham, he called us to daily faithfulness:
✔️ Sight over hype ✔️ Habits over hustles
✔️ Integrity over income ✔️ Identity beyond titles

In every man is a boy, waiting to be unleashed

We ended in a circle. Yes, a circle of grown men holding each other’s shoulders, singing “Lean on Me.” Eerie? Maybe. Healing? Definitely.

And because a few Gen Z brothers were present, we Anguka Nayo’d to the finish line. 🕺🏽💃🏽

Talk is cheap. We had a feast!

You are the ONE MAN that could change the world. So go ahead. Live BIG.🔥

💬 I’d Love to Hear From You!
